CTS has completed the installation of a new Motorola IRRInet System for City of Melbourne. Currently, there are 75 new sites which are connected to the Motorola IRRInet System. This is the world's larges GPRS based system of its type.

The system operates the irrigation to parks and gardens in the City of Melbourne precinct. It allows the system operators to remotely monitor and control the irrigation systems from the central base, or by handheld device.

Investigations are currently underway to expand this system to other applications within the City of Melbourne precinct.
